For the sole reason that it is the dawn of a new year, when introspection seems to be a requisite emotion for one to better purge the old in order to usher in the new, I revisited the collection of photos I had taken between 2007 and 2008 for my first Project 365. In doing so, I realized there are things in those photos I no longer possess, which speaks of a painful truth about my current state of being.
The heart no longer sings, the mind no longer asks, and the eye no longer sparkles.
These muscles, the very ones that had shaped me into who I am today artistically, have atrophied for far too long. It’s time to flex them again.
First, to jog, then run, and finally, fly again.
It’s time for Project 365: Year Two.
