Tetanus is a television commercials director and a commercial stills photographer. A self-taught filmmaker schooled in architecture, he entered the film industry in 2001 after his feature film screenplay Cigarettes & Alcohol was shortlisted as one of the top ten finalists in a local screenwriting competition.
He directed his first television commercial in 2003 and has, over the years, directed TVCs for major brands such as Nokia and Sony. He was represented by a local production company from 2006 to 2007.
When he is not directing, he pursues photography to continue honing his craft in the field of visual arts. In early 2007, he turned professional as a photographer, specializing in architectural, food, and advertising photography. You can see some of his photographs on his Flickr photostream.
In his free time, he writes creative fiction and spec screenplays in the aim to become solely a feature film director. He was also a contributing writer for TheAppleBlog, a US-based tech blog imprint of The GigaOM Network.
