Somebody bought the only copy of the book I had chanced upon on my last trip to Kinokuniya. I went back today just for it, making a beeline to the shelf where I last saw it on.
It was not there anymore.
Even as a quick check with the staff revealed that the book was still listed as ex stock in their database, I could not find it anywhere in the section where it was supposed to be. Most likely, some twit held on to the book and browsed the rest of the bookstore but, having decided not to purchase it, dumped it on a shelf somewhere.
I am most upset.
